Welcome Letter 2021

Dear Northside Preparatory Academy Families,

I would first like to say welcome to our new families joining NSPA this year and welcome back to our returning families! Officially Northside Preparatory Academy is the home of the RAMS!

It’s great to be celebrating the start of a new school year at Northside, through the challenges of the global pandemic we are glad to know that many of our students will be returning to the building this year for in- person learning.  Even though we are still faced with the spread of COVID 19 and other variants we will continue to provide our staff and students with the necessary safety and health protocols as outlined by our local State Health Department(s) and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The staff and I look forward to welcoming the students for another year focused on academic progress and achievement. We also look forward to building a partnership with parents where we can work together to ensure the best academic outcomes for our students to excel at Northside. This will be achieved by keeping the lines of communication open, attending parent-teacher conferences, engaging in school workshops and trainings, volunteering (as safety guidelines permit), joining our Parent Leader Group (PLG) and promoting the school throughout and within our communities.

One of the goals, as there are many for our students, is to ensure they are safe and can thrive in a school environment focused on academic achievement and behavioral success.

All of us at Northside Preparatory Academy are eager and excited to begin the 2021-22 school year! Please find with this letter, the 2021-22 School Year Calendar, Supply List, Uniform Dress Code, Student Behavior and Deportment Guidelines and other important forms of information.

Please mark your calendar for our “Meet the Teacher Night” on Monday, August 16th TBD (Time to be determined). During this meeting, you will be introduced to your student(s) teacher(s), learn about the curriculum and schedules, parent engagement opportunities and school wide plans to support academic and family success at Northside Preparatory Academy.

The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 18th.

The staff and I look forward to working with you as Partners in Education to support your child/children’s academic success at Northside Preparatory Academy!

Sincerely,

Yolanda Clark
Principal, Northside Preparatory Academy
